Juventus will meet up with Lazio in Malta over move for Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

Juventus are stepping up their pursuit of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as they plan to meet up with Lazio to negotiate a summer move, according to reports.

Milinkovic-Savic attracted heavy interest from Manchester United last summer but the Premier League outfit failed to get their man and the midfielder still remains in high demand a year on.

And according to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Juventus president Andrea Agnelli will meet Lazio counterpart Claudio Lotito in Malta over a deal for the 24-year-old Serbian midfielder.

Agnelli and Lotito are currently in Malta for a European Club Association summit and are staying in the same hotel.

Juventus, still without a manager, are eager to bolster their squad this summer as they look to make the next step up in Europe by winning the Champions League.

The Serie A giants, who have already signed Aaron Ramsey on a free from Arsenal, crashed out at the Champions League quarter-final stage to Ajax last season.
