Hardly aged a day! Sale of the Century star Nicky Buckley, 53, looks remarkably youthful

People searching for the fountain of youth may be well advised to consult model and television star Nicky Buckley.

Nicky, who co-hosted game show Sale of the Century in the mid ’90s, appeared on Today Extra on Friday looking much younger than her 53 years.

The mother-of-three was interviewed alongside her husband Murray Bingham, who also starred on Sale of the Century.

The couple, who have been married for 27 years, discussed the surprising way they met: at a train station in Melbourne.

While they were both fixtures on Sale of the Century, a strange twist of fate meant they didn’t actually meet for the first time on set.

When asked what sparked their relationship, Murray smiled and said it was running into each other on ‘platform 11 at Flinders Street Station’.

When Today Extra co-host Brooke Boney said it was an ‘adorable’ way to meet a life partner, Nicky replied, ‘Yes it was!’

‘Still is!’ added Murray. ‘She still loves me, which amazes me every day.’

Nicky – who shares three sons with Murray, Cooper, 21, Jasper, 20, and Baxter, 16 – co-hosted Sale of the Century for six years with Glenn Ridge.

Murray, who is a model, was also a regular fixture on the program.

After Sale of the Century ended, Nicky went on to host segments for Good Morning Australia and the Today show, and was event a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.

When asked if they’d consider taking part in a reboot of Sale of the Century, Nicky and Murray enthusiastically confirmed they would.

‘Wouldn’t they just like us oldies?’ said Nicky. ‘It is a show that was fabulous. If it was still on air, it is something that we would still watch.’
