Dave Bautista is no longer thrilled with working with Disney ever since Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn got fired.
The actor, who has been vocal in his support for Gunn, made this known in new exchange with a fan who wanted to know if he plans to remain on Vol. 3 without Gunn attached to the project. Bautista responded saying he do what he is “legally obligated to do,” however that Guardians without Gunn isn’t really Guardians.
The actor further took a potshot at Disney, saying it’s “pretty nauseating” to work for someone that would “empower a smear campaign by fascists.”
I will do what Im legally obligated to do but @Guardians without @JamesGunn is not what I signed up for. GOTG w/o @JamesGunn just isn’t GOTG. Its also pretty nauseating to work for someone who’d empower a smear campaign by fascists #cybernazis . That’s just how I feel https://t.co/Ym4FwruVDu

This comes one week after the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy published an open letter in which they defended director James Gunn and hoped that he will be rehired to shoot the next film.
Disney had yet to respond to the petition as at press time.
